LIVING YOUR OWN LIFE...

Happy Couple.
Many happy people out there are living their life, as they want to live it, and they have their true happiness. They are working at doing what they love to do, and this is what brings them happiness. Now this may seem like a strange concept that you have to work to have happiness, but bear with me for a while and it will all be explained.
As you may know, the most happy and successful people are those who work toward the things they are passionate about. If you really like to do something and you like to do it well you will not only experience success but satisfaction with your life as well.
All of us like to do some things, but are downright passionate about other things, and this is what brings us true happiness into our lives. If there is something in your life that you are passionate about and love, and you work with it and at it, then you will find joy and happiness in your life.
The reasons for work
If you have a hobby and you work at it you get better and better at it, to the point your friends and neighbors could consider you an expert. This hobby you do brings you happiness, and you enjoy doing it. There are many reasons for this: The more you love what you do, the harder you are going to work at it, and the more you love what you do.
Doing something because you like to do it is easy, even when it appears to everyone else that it is hard to do. You do it because it is your passion, and because you enjoy your work. This is a secret that most people never discover, that to do something because you enjoy it, is often its own reward. The reward of course is bringing into your life true happiness.
What you love to do
Everyone has something that they like to do, and if you discover this something you will experience true happiness in your life. The question seems then to be of how to find out what we are passionate about in our lives.

OVERCOMING DEPRESSION

Let’s face it, sometimes everyone gets depressed at one time or another if you are struggling to overcome depression, know that you are not alone in your struggle. A lot of factors can contribute to one being depressed: a negative self image, low grades in academics, family problems and others.
Everyone is different and what works for one person might not work for another, but for every depressed person there is a remedy or treatment that can overcome depression. The following are a few tips to help anyone who is struggling to overcome depression:
·        Talk to someone. Find a supportive person to talk to and express your feelings, as keeping all your feelings bottled up inside can cause them to fester and make you feel worse.
·        Get Started Taking Supplements. Many experts believe depression is caused from a chemical imbalance in the brain, and this can be brought on by a lack of proper nutrition. Taking supplements can give the brain a kick start to better chemistry and make you feel better.
·        Eat a Proper Diet. When we are depressed or anxious, it is hard to resist reaching for processed foods high in sugar and fat. The best way to counter the urges is to keep healthy food around at all times, including fresh fruits, vegetables, and protein. Eating a proper diet will give your body the nutrition it needs for good brain chemistry.
·        Walk 30 Minutes a Day. Walking for 30 minutes can give an immediate lift in mood, so if you are seeking immediate results, this is a good exercise.
·        Spend Time Outdoors. Just sitting outside for a while and listening to the sounds of nature can give positive results.
·        Practice Meditation. This has been found to alleviate all manner of disorders in people, including mood disorders. Practice meditating at least several times a week, and see how much better you feel.
·        Do Something You Enjoy Every Day. Find some time every day to do something enjoyable, whether it is reading a book, going to the gym, or watching a movie.
10 ways you can love your body (whatever shape or size you come in)
1. Affirm that your body is perfect just the way it is.
2. Think of your body as a tool. Create an inventory of all the things you can do with it.
3. Walk with your head high with pride and confidence

Plus size and Confident

Confident Plussize ladies

We watch the star athlete calmly make the final shot, score the winning goal, or lead his team for a touchdown in the final minute of the game. We marvel at their talent and their determination, but what we value and admire most is the supreme confidence they display - they know they will succeed.
Confidence is an attribute that is alluring, attractive, valuable, desirable and contagious. Almost everyone aspires to greater levels of it, even if they feel confident most of the time. It is a trait that will help us create greater results for ourselves and when leading others. Any trait with this much benefit is one worth developing. And yes, you can develop and strengthen your confidence.
Consider these five steps as the building blocks for greater confidence in any part of your life.
1. Remind yourself of past successes. Confidence builds on past success. Since you have had success before, you can (and will) have it again. We strengthen our confidence in any activity when we review or remind ourselves of past successes. If you are trying to build confidence in a new area, past success can still help us strengthen our confidence. For example, if you have had success in doing something new in the past, review those experiences when trying something else new - even if it is in an entirely different part of your life.
2. Read and listen to positive materials. Fill your mind with positive and affirming words, ideas and stories. Read things that enhances your skills or knowledge in the area in which you want to build your confidence. Read materials that are generally uplifting and affirming, and read biographies of successful people. You will find that many of them had troubles in life, came from tough situations and still succeeded. If you have ever thought, "Well, if they can do, I could too." Then you realize that we can build our confidence by reading about others stories. Reading and listening to positive materials is about reinforcement, encouragement, and learning. All three of these components are needed for greater confidence.
3. See your future success. Olympic athletes, corporate executives, and successful people in all sorts of endeavors visualize future success. Confidence will grow when we see ourselves succeeding. Think about it, if you know you will succeed, your confidence will soar, right? Visualizing future success does that very thing for us. Our minds cannot tell the difference between something real and something vividly imagined. So vividly visualize your success. What will it look like, smell like, and taste like to have succeeded? Who will be with you, what will you be hearing and where will you be? How will you be feeling at that moment? Putting this much detail into your vivid picture improves the likelihood of success, and supports greater confidence!
4. Reframe failure. Thomas Edison spent a long time trying to create an incandescent light bulb - to create light from electricity. He is attributed with saying, "I have not failed, I have discovered twelve hundred materials that don't work." 1,200! Perhaps you feel you can reframe your failures as learning experiences- as a chance to find out what doesn't work. But would you be able to do so 1,200 times? Know that failures will occur - and your confidence won't be as shaken when they come. Use the

Fashion tips for body shapes

People come in different shapes and sizes, each possessing different attributes, flaws and assets. Dressing according to your body shape and type cannot be over emphasized. A lot of authors have talked about a lot of body shapes, but basically we have 4 body shapes, the others are usually a combination or an offshoot of the four. The 4 main body shapes are;
  • Pear shape
  • Apple shape
  • Hour glass and
  • Rectangular/ tube shape.
PEAR SHAPE
A pear shaped beauty normally has a wider torso, a well defined waist line, a smaller bust and narrower shoulder.
In dressing, a pear shaped woman should work towards balancing out the curvy bottom and this can be achieved by wearing tops with embellished collars, drawing attention to your top part with a plunging neckline or a chunky jewelry.

Moving On

Break ups can be devastating, and moving on is no walk in the park. Unless you're made of the same sinew as Superman, you can't ignore the fact that, for a time, you no longer believed in love. Especially when you seem to have invested so much in the relationship, a messy break up can hurt you bad and take everything away--from the ego that took years to build right down to the last centavo in your bank account.
The good news is, the wheel of life turns. You can only stay at the bottom and in the dark for so long. Soon, you'll want to walk in the sunshine again. You'll be moving on to face a new life. Finding the will to live again is always a good sign.
This positive energy attracts good vibrations. You'll see a boost in your career, enhance your relationships with your family, and become a better friend to everyone around you. You'll even think about dating again. You may have even found yourself attracted to someone new.
Dating again after a messy break up can be the final

Breaking out of the plus size 'boundary'.

Research shows that nearly 4 out of 5 women hate their bodies. Are you one of them, picking at flaws and focusing endlessly on imperfections? Diet organizations feed on that kind of insecurity and fear, happily encouraging you into believing that something is wrong with you, especially if you're a plus size gal.
Hating yourself or your body will only compound your problems. Hating yourself brings depression which can stop you from achieving your goals.
Tips for self acceptance
1. Don’t compare yourself with anybody, you are unique.
2. Make a list of your best qualities and achievements. Are you a great listener, a loyal friend, a smart cook? Remind yourself often of your assets.
3. Stop weighing yourself. Reclaim your power from that miserable piece of scrap metal and step away the scale.
4. Wear clothes in flattering colors and styles that really fit you right now. Find local stores that carry plus sizes that are fashionable and comfortable.
5. Search online and find plus size women who have a look that you admire and take some fashion and style tips from them.
6. Become active, exercise not primarily to lose weight but to feel good, in doing so, you lose weight without knowing it.
A lot of  women  have excelled in their chosen fields and set records for others to follow despite being overweight; ONLY you can stop you from achieving and living your dreams.

Battling with failure;Down but not OUT

We all fail at something at some point in our lives. We may fail to make the grade at school, may lose a job, and may lose the love of our life, among other things.
Everyone hates to fail but what most people don't realize is that failing is part of success. Anyone who has ever succeeded has failed many times. They are two sides of the same coin.
It is the failure that brings you to success; success is about dealing with failures. Without failure in your journey, you will not learn and improve, and you will not find the right way to success.
Basically, there are 3 ways you can deal with failure:
1. Give Up and Forget Your Dreams
2. Try Harder, Take More Action
3. Treat Failure as Feedback, and Change the Strategies

Techniques to help you instantly transform any situation in to a positive learning experience.
1. Failure? - Not in my book. Failure is choosing to look at an opportunity in a negative light. Here is how I view what someone else may coin a "failure".
a. A fresh start or new beginning.
b. A "do over".
c. A test of persistence.
d. An opportunity to choose to do something else.

2. Major setback? These setbacks are there to test your resolve and are offered as an opportunity for you to expand your skills and continue your growth. Will you back down and cower under the pressure of the setback? Or will you face the challenge, analyze what has happened, and capitalize on the learning lesson that has presented itself.
3. Frustrated and feeling suffocated? Use your imagination and consider different perspectives to optimize your personal learning from each situation. Here are a few viewpoints to consider:
a. Your mom's view
b. Your dad's view
c. A pessimist's view
d. An optimist's view
e. An expert's view
f. A junior's view
g. A child's view
h. An elderly person's view
By considering multiple view points and using your mind to expand your horizons, you will be mastering a skill utilized by many of the greatest leaders of all time. It's not about understanding something from your perspective, it is more crucial to understand from everyone’s.

How to Deal and Cope with Failure
1.     Learn from your mistakes and failures
2.     Don't Brood Over the Causes
3.     Don't Go Into a Shell: Don't be afraid to try again
4.     Think Of Your Past Successes
5.     Realize that failure is part of the learning curve.
6.     Have Faith in You
7.     Plan for the Road Ahead

Let go of the pains and feelings associated with failure, then and only then will you begin to see numerous opportunities.

HAIRSTYLE DONT
AvoidLong straight styles that accentuate square jawbone. "Linear" straight bangs or center parts. A straight bob ending at the jaw line is the wrong thing to do for your face shape. You can wear a layered bob, however it should end above or below the jaw line. Make sure in styling that you achieve some roundness to the shape and some height at the crown or bangs, and you will be on the right track.
